Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC in Asheboro, NC seeks a Night Shift Material Handler to move and prepare raw materials and finished goods for manufacturing. The role supports technicians, inspects packing, and ensures safe and organized operations on the night shift.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience preferred, and forklift experience is a plus (training available). We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus but can be trained on the job
• Previous plastics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Movement and preparation of all raw materials and finished product for manufacturing
• Assist technicians and inspectors/packers when needed
• Dispose of waste to proper containers and regrind product as required
• Prepare finished product for warehouse
• Housekeeping and organization of the facility
• Recordkeeping and documentation for shipping and receiving
• Operate all material handling equipment
• Replace films on machines and tools as required
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Maintain and improve a safe working environment
• Participate in problem solving & improvement teams
• Maintain proper amount of additive at machine (color, etc.)

We are currently seeking a Night Shift Material Handler, with the below qualifications:
Professional Attributes

• Movement & preparation of all raw materials and finished product for manufacturing
