The goal is to build and be recognized as a World Class Sales and Marketing Organization that successfully executes against our budgets, business strategies, and G&I laneways. You will work closely with LP businesses to create and execute regional growth strategies, sales, and marketing plans that align with our business goals and surpass market growth rates. You will build, lead, and manage an "A" player regional field sales and marketing team responsible for achieving top and bottom-line regional sales and marketing budgets.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with all business units to develop annual operating budgets, including volume, pricing, revenue, and EBITDA targets
  • Develop regional sales and marketing strategies for specialty products to drive growth exceeding market returns and meet budget goals
  • Incorporate and execute Growth and Innovation Laneways into regional plans for each business
  • Identify new Growth and Innovation products and services, working with each business to launch and assume accountability for sales results
  • Manage, coach, train, and hire sales and marketing staff supporting our values and continuous development
  • Guide businesses to translate corporate branding and marketing strategies into relevant local/regional actions
  • Be accountable for regional development, ROI reporting, and marketing campaign execution and metrics
  • Provide leadership for local marketing efforts, including campaign prioritization and event-based marketing
  • Strengthen our culture of employee improvement, teamwork, and communication based on survey feedback
  • Provide accurate sales, volume, and product mix forecasts
  • Lead 1-2 key initiatives annually, such as Salesforce, Training, Onboarding, or Customer Councils
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business teams and functional departments, ensuring alignment and communication
  • Evaluate relationships and strategic alignment with key multi-regional customers
  • Simplify complexity and optimize organizational efficiency
  • Report progress quarterly and participate in leadership teams
  • Perform all duties safely and as assigned

  • Knowledge of sales channels and supply chain models
  • Core management skills for planning, coaching, and executing budgets
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and business case development
  • Basic understanding of building practices involving LP products
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and adapt to market changes
  • Decisiveness to make tough organizational decisions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with industry software

Experience:

  • 10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in people management

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing

Work Environment:

  • Home office with frequent travel (60%+)
  • Regions include Northwest, West, and Western Canada
