Job summary

Perma-Pipe, a growing division within a publicly traded company, seeks a Western Regional Sales Manager to grow sales in data center and critical facility spaces for leak detection systems. Based in Rolling Meadows, IL, you will drive direct and channel sales, engage end users, engineering consultants, and partners to expand market share.

You will travel up to 50% and lead proposal development, CRM updates, and coordination with technical teams to achieve sales objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience, preference for data center vertical.
• Experience in selling building automation, alarm systems, life safety or HVAC.
• Experience building relationships with engineering consulting firms is desirable.
• Strong track record in developing channel partners.
• Familiar with typical sales cycle through data center projects and low voltage devices.

Responsibilities

• Direct selling to key accounts in data center and mission-critical facilities.
• Target engineering consultants to promote specifications.
• Collaborate with technical team, operations and management to meet sales objectives.
• Develop and manage regional channel partners to grow market share and profitability.
• Qualify inbound leads, convert to opportunities and close deals.
• Develop RFP/RFI responses, proposals and submittals.
• Participate in tradeshows and marketing initiatives to raise product awareness.
• Provide feedback on market trends, pricing and competition to product/engineering.
• Support projects with leak detection as part of pipe solutions.
• Update CRM tool information and reporting.
