Job summary

LeChase Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead small to midsize construction projects in Westchester County, NY. You will manage field operations, coordinate with Owners, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality while controlling costs.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership, with healthcare sector knowledge preferred and a daily commute to Westchester County. Join a team focused on delivering value and repeat business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/college degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 strongly preferred.
• Technical, mechanical, electrical, and leadership training preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent using Microsoft Office & other construction-related software.
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors/suppliers to secure safe, high-quality construction at minimum cost in accordance with LeChase Fundamentals.
• Maintain daily communications with the project manager regarding status of the job, including changes in scope and change orders.
• Coordinate project team responsibilities across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.
• Oversee the effectiveness and evaluate performance of project foremen and crews.
• Monitor manpower and productivity; coordinate with the Director of Field Operations; monitor costs daily.
• Ensure all required paperwork is filled out accurately and on time (time sheets, cost codes, reports, invoices, POs, etc.).
• Follow and implement the safety program; conduct safety meetings and inspections; maintain housekeeping.
• Maintain excellent relations with Owners and engineers; pursue repeat business through customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades; maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate with management; gather input from crews; address issues in meetings.
• Review job costs and schedule with the Project Manager weekly.
• Maintain As-Built Drawings and close-out requirements throughout construction.
