Job summary

LeChase Construction seeks a hands-on field operations leader for small to mid-size projects. You will manage 1–3-person teams, direct labor, scheduling, quality control, and safety programs, coordinating with the Project Manager and Project Executive in Charge.

A strong healthcare sector background is required. Responsibilities include overseeing foremen and crews, reviewing drawings, managing costs, and ensuring timely project close-out.

Qualifications

• High school diploma desired; vocational/college diploma desirable.
• Technical, mechanical, electrical, communication and leadership training desirable.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
• English usage, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and punctuation.
• Computer applications related to the work.
• Recordkeeping principles and procedures.
• Personnel principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct labor, equipment, materials and subcontractors/suppliers to secure safe, high-quality construction at minimum cost.
• Maintain daily communications with project manager regarding status of job.
• Coordinate, participate and implement project team responsibilities from pre-construction to post-construction.
• Study project drawings and specifications before construction.
• Initiate three-week schedule and communicate goals and status.
• Esteem and supervise foremen and crews to achieve daily goals.
• Maintain safety meetings and ensure housekeeping.
• Coordinate shop drawings and subsystem interfaces.
• Maintain As-Built Drawings and close-out requirements.
