Job summary

Flanigan's Enterprises is seeking a dedicated team member to ensure dishware and utensils are properly washed and sanitized, while maintaining a clean kitchen environment. You will follow safety policies and assist with opening/closing duties to support a fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, assisting with prep tasks, and keeping all dining and kitchen areas spotless throughout shifts. English fluency and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
• Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
• Support fellow employees as needed
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
