Job summary

Flowtec Group is seeking a Technical Service Representative to deliver hands-on field support across West Texas, with a preference for San Antonio, Austin, or Lubbock. You will troubleshoot equipment, optimize chemical treatment and wastewater processes, and train customers on safe handling and operation of polymer, coagulant, and feed systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline such as chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in water/wastewater processes, industrial chemicals, or field service is preferred.
• Knowledge of pumps, dosing equipment, and process instrumentation is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work skills.
• Ability to travel 60%+ across West Texas and communicate with plant personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical service and troubleshooting at customer facilities.
• Monitor and optimize chemical treatment and wastewater processes.
• Support applications involving polymers, flocculants, coagulants, and specialty chemicals.
• Troubleshoot pumps, chemical feed systems, polymer makedown units, dosing equipment, and automation systems.
• Perform process evaluations, testing, and data collection to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work directly with operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams.
• Assist with installation, startup, and ongoing support of equipment.
• Provide customer training around chemical application, equipment operation, and safe chemical handling.
• Document service activity and communicate recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with customer facilities.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and laboratory teams when additional support is required.
