Job summary

Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) seeks a Business Development Manager for the West Territory. You will drive new member acquisition by promoting Navigator's healthcare purchasing programs and technology solutions to independent senior living facilities across the West US.

You will manage the full sales cycle, build executive relationships, and utilize AI-enabled CRM and market insights. Remote work is allowed; expect 50% travel within the West Territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of outside sales experience selling into senior living environments.
• Proven track record carrying a business development quota and closing new business within a defined territory.
• Experience managing the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting through negotiation and close.
• Strong understanding of food services contracts for long-term care communities.
• Experience working for a GPO or managing a GPO/IDN relationship desirable.
• Knowledge of food service or senior health market settings preferred.
• Proven ability to close C-level or Senior Management of Senior Living Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling to identify, qualify, present, and close new business opportunities in the independent senior living market across the West Territory.
• Manage pipeline development using CRM with forecasting and territory management, including AI-driven lead scoring and predictive forecasting.
• Develop relationships with senior living operators, C-level and senior management, food service, and Healthcare Technology partners.
• Navigate complex multi-year GPO agreements and balance value creation with margin protection.
• Conduct in-person and virtual meetings throughout the West Territory (50% travel).
• Maintain travel and expense budget, using automation to maximize time efficiency and territory coverage.
• Use AI-powered prospecting tools to identify and prioritize target accounts.
• Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate account research and outreach for executive meetings.
