Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations across an assigned region of California and surrounding markets. You will develop high-performing teams, expand market share, and drive profitable growth for trucks, trailers, and fleet solutions.

The role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple locations, travel frequently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in regional sales within trucking/transport sector.
• Five or more years in sales leadership across multi-location regions.
• Proven track record in achieving regional revenue and gross profit goals.
• Strong knowledge of trucks, trailers, fleet operations, and financing options.
• Ability to lead and develop sales teams across locations.
• Experience with regional sales budgets, forecasts, and performance plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales managers and sales professionals across the assigned region.
• Set regional/ location goals and development plans.
• Develop regional sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Monitor performance, pipelines, and profitability across locations.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate regional sales staff.
• Establish consistent sales processes and reporting across locations.
• Build strategic relationships with fleet customers and national accounts.
• Collaborate with Parts, Service, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver solutions.
• Prepare regional performance reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
• Represent the company at industry events and customer functions.
