Job summary

Prologis in the United States is seeking a Project Developer, Energy for the West Region. You will lead solar PV and energy storage development, collaborate with corporate sustainability leaders to advance energy solutions supporting net-zero goals by 2040, and own the regional market strategy and revenue targets.

You will build direct relationships with customers and partners, guide internal teams from idea to shovel-ready projects, leverage the Prologis energy and sustainability network, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the energy sector.
• 2+ years of Sales or Project Development in a target/quota environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop a multi-site portfolio and meet MW targets.
• Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and workflow management.
• Experience managing outside partners (EPC, engineering, etc.).
• Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce preferred).
• Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Team-player with relationship-building skills and collaborative nature.
• Willingness to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of project development with internal and external partners, covering origination, interconnection, engineering, underwriting, construction, and operations.
• Work with Energy origination teams to meet revenue targets.
• Forecast and plan the West U.S. addressable market and identify new utility programs or technologies.
• Drive regional marketing in collaboration with sustainability teams and represent Prologis at events.
