Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years in Operations.
• Technical or crafts training related to operations.
• 3+ years of operations experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily unit operations including start-up, shutdown, and process adjustments.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform operator tasks during turnarounds.
• Maintain levels, temperatures, pressures, and flows; monitor control board instrumentation.
• Collect data readings, perform product sampling, and write work orders.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of units.
• Investigate problems, take corrective actions, and issue safety permits as needed.
