Job summary

LHC Group, a leading post-acute care partner within the Optum family, seeks a Vice President of Business Development for West Louisiana. You will provide sales leadership and set strategies to achieve admit and census goals, growing profitable business and elevating the performance of the sales force.

You will partner with Operations and executive leadership to drive growth, coach Account Executives, and ensure alignment with corporate direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or licensure required; healthcare background preferred.
• 3+ years in Home Health or Hospice.
• 2+ years in Sales Management.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned area.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing sales team.
• Achieve admit and census goals by monitoring progress and addressing gaps.
• Share best practices and maximize marketing resources to grow market share.
• Build collaboration with Operations to align growth with operations.
• Report to Division leadership and implement company initiatives.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
