Job summary

Merck is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director for the West Region of the United States in Immunology. You will lead District Managers and field reps, driving omnichannel strategies and ensuring excellent customer engagement across provider systems.

You will own P&L for the region, develop strategic plans, and partner cross-functionally to achieve launch and growth objectives, with up to 50% travel to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher with 10+ years in pharma sales/managed care.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience building and managing customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing regional immunology sales team.
• Own the customer portfolio and ensure trusted communications across touchpoints.
• Build relationships with senior leaders and payer organizations to optimize access and reimbursement strategies.
• Deliver regional business results and meet P&L targets.
• Align regional plans with cross-functional teams to drive launches and growth.
