Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a regional Enterprise Account Executive Leader to guide a team selling to health systems across the Western United States.

You will coach sellers through complex deals, set regional strategy, and own relationships with CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, and COOs to drive cloud, AI, and health IT transformations. Travel up to 50% is expected as you partner with customers to modernize healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding $10M+ annual revenue targets in complex, consultative enterprise sales environments
• Experience managing full sales cycles — from pipeline generation and qualification through negotiation and close — with deal sizes of $1M+
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships (CIO, CMIO) at large, complex organizations
• Strong operational discipline — pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, CRM (Salesforce)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ Years Experience managing a sales team
• Deep knowledge of healthcare provider business models, financial dynamics (margin pressure, value-based care, payer mix), and regulatory environment
• Experience with cloud technologies, AI/ML, and digital transformation programs in healthcare — ability to articulate how technology drives clinical and operational outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a team of enterprise Account Executives through coaching and performance management.
• Set and execute the regional go-to-market strategy across West region health systems.
• Drive revenue attainment and pipeline discipline with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
• Build executive relationships with CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, and COOs at strategic accounts.
• Coach sellers through complex, multi-stakeholder deals and multi-year engagements.
• Coordinate Solutions Architecture, Specialist Sales, Professional Services, and partners for solutions.
• Develop talent, create development plans, and mentor future regional leaders.
• Represent AWS in healthcare ecosystem at industry events and thought leadership.
