Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions across shifts. You will lead care delivery, policy adherence, and staff resource management to sustain exceptional clinical outcomes.

The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care quality, train staff, and optimize throughput while upholding a patient-first philosophy and service excellence.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, PALS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure and RN Diploma are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge to ensure throughput and high-quality care.
• Assess the quality of patient care in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborate with managers to create an environment of teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies including rounds to improve engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management according to productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and supplies management.
