The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead West Coast initiatives, driving regional revenue growth and margin expansion. You will manage a network of reps, influence specifications, and coordinate with engineers and municipalities to win projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in municipal/valve sales, strong technical aptitude, and Salesforce experience. Travel up to 50% is expected; base salary is $115,000–$125,000 with a 20% bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of sales/technical sales experience in municipal water/wastewater; valve or process equipment experience preferred.
• Proven experience working with manufacturer’s representative firms.
• Understanding of municipal project lifecycle: specification, bidding, procurement.
• Ability to influence specifications with engineers.
• Strong technical aptitude to discuss product applications.
• CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and forecasting experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Aufgaben

• Execute regional sales strategy to hit revenue, market share, and margin targets.
• Manage and coach a network of manufacturer’s reps; set expectations and train.
• Influence project specifications by engaging engineers and municipalities.
• Lead product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and training sessions.
• Provide front-line application engineering and product support.
• Identify and manage opportunities from specification through award.
• Collaborate with inside sales on competitive project quotations.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasts, and activity in Salesforce.
• Develop relationships with engineers, municipal decision-makers, contractors, and distributors.
• Monitor market trends and report actionable feedback.
