Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast to drive growth in the municipal water and wastewater market. You will manage a network of reps, influence project specifications, and coordinate with engineers and end users to deliver profitable growth.

This role requires strong leadership, travel, and a proven track record in technical sales. The position offers a salary of $115,000–$125,000 plus a 20% bonus, with remote work options across the Western states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in municipal water/wastewater industry; valve or process equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and gross margin objectives.
• Manage and develop a network of manufacturers' representative firms; set expectations and provide ongoing training.
• Influence specifications by calling on consulting engineers, municipalities, and utilities.
• Lead product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and technical training sessions for engineers, reps, and end users.
• Provide front-line application engineering and product selection support with internal resources.
• Identify, qualify, and manage opportunities from specification through award.
• Collaborate with inside sales on quotations aligned with regional goals and margins.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasts, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
• Develop relationships with engineers, municipal decision-makers, contractors, and distributors.
