Job summary

United Future is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast to drive revenue growth in municipal water and wastewater valve solutions. You will lead a network of reps, influence engineers, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver profitable expansion across the region.

The role requires strategic sales planning, strong stakeholder relationships with consultants and utilities, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in municipal water/wastewater industry; valve experience preferred.
• Experience with manufacturer's representative firms and city/utility engagement.
• Strong understanding of municipal project lifecycle: specification, bidding, procurement.
• Ability to influence specifications with engineers; CRM and forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and margin targets.
• Manage and coach a network of manufacturer's representatives; set expectations and train.
• Influence project specifications by engaging engineers, municipalities, and utilities.
• Lead product presentations, trainings, and lunch-and-learns for engineers, reps, and end users.
• Provide application engineering support in coordination with internal resources.
• Identify and manage opportunities from specification to award.
• Collaborate with inside sales on competitive quotations aligned to goals.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasts, and activity in Salesforce.
• Develop relationships with engineers, municipal decision-makers, contractors, and distributors.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback to management.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required.
