Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in the United States seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast to drive revenue growth, manage reps, and influence municipal specifications for valve products in water/wastewater. You’ll coordinate with engineers, utilities, and inside sales to win projects and protect margins.

The role requires 5+ years in municipal sales, strong technical aptitude, travel up to 50%, and Salesforce proficiency; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Competitive salary with a 20% bonus package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in the municipal water and/or wastewater industry; valve or process equipment experience preferred.
• Proven experience working with or managing manufacturer's representative firms.
• Strong understanding of the municipal project lifecycle, including specification, bidding, and procurement processes.
• Ability to influence specifications and build credibility with consulting engineers.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product applications.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales forecasting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 50%).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and gross margin objectives.
• Manage, coach, and develop a network of manufacturer's representative firms; set expectations, track performance, and provide ongoing training and support.
• Influence project and master specifications by calling on consulting engineering firms, municipalities, and utilities.
• Lead and support product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and technical training sessions for engineers, reps, and end users.
• Provide front-line application engineering and product selection support in coordination with internal engineering resources.
• Identify, qualify, and manage sales opportunities from specification through award.
• Collaborate with inside sales to develop competitive project quotations that align with regional sales goals, pricing strategy, and gross margin targets.
• Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasts, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
• Develop strong relationships with key regional stakeholders, including engineers, municipal decision-makers, contractors, and distributors.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends within the region and provide actionable feedback to management.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required.
