Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large public safety software deployments in the United States. You will direct multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets up to $10M, and align deliverables with customer expectations while coordinating with sales on strategy.

The role requires extensive stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and hands-on involvement across programs to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing complex deployments for public safety projects.
• Ability to obtain government clearances when required.

Responsibilities

• Leads large programs or portions of very complex programs up to $10M.
• Directs and coordinates the work activities of project teams.
• People management experience a must; may supervise other project managers or technical staff.
• Capable of managing/supervising other disciplines/technology within a project.
• Communicates with key customer stakeholders.
• Contributes to sales strategy and project revenue growth.
• Conducts needs assessments and requirements gathering.
• Defines program scope, objectives, budgets and metrics for large projects.
• Manages projects from inception to completion with tracking and evaluation.
• Ensures adherence to plan, quality metrics, and budgets; recommends actions.
• Identifies risks and implements mitigation plans; procures resources.
• Allocates staff with required competencies; acts as primary interface to internal teams.
