Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Project/Program Manager to lead large, complex Command Center deployments for public safety clients. You will direct project teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery on time and within scope.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in public safety project management, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% from the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Public Safety and Project Management experience.
• Ability to obtain background clearance for government customers.
• Must be able to travel 75% and work remotely from the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads large programs or portions of very complex programs up to $10M.
• Directs and coordinates the work activities of project teams.
• Manages other project managers or technical staff as needed.
• Communicates with key customer stakeholders and contributes to sales strategy.
• Defines program scope, objectives, budgets and metrics for large projects.
