Job summary

Mackay Communications, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast with deep experience in marine electronics sales. You will lead regional sales initiatives, build and maintain key client relationships, and drive profitable growth across California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and travel to customer sites. Competitive compensation includes commission, benefits, and a company car, with opportunities for long-term career

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the sales of marine electronic equipment.
• 3+ years in the same or a similar regional sales role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IMO, SOLAS and Class Society regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Understanding of West Coast market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional sales strategies and annual targets.
• Lead a sales team to grow Mackay Marine’s West Coast business.
• Manage key accounts and build new customer relationships.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Service staff.
• Travel frequently to customer sites and deliver presentations.
• Prepare proposals and respond to RFQs.
