Job summary

Singular Genomics is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive commercial expansion across the West Coast (CA, OR, WA). This role focuses on new customer acquisition, strategic account cultivation, and accelerating adoption of spatial multiomics services.

You will manage relationships with major academic translational research centers and biopharma, navigate complex sales cycles, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value in our cutting-edge sequencing and spatial biology

Qualifications

5–10+ years in spatial biology, life science tools, genomics or translational research sales.
Proven success closing high-value deals with pharma, biotech, or academic medical centers.
Strong technical acumen in genomics, spatial biology, and single-cell analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
Ability to travel 30–50%.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the West Coast territory.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in translational research centers, biopharma, and multicenter spatial biology programs.
Navigate complex sales cycles involving scientific, technical, and procurement stakeholders.
Deliver compelling value propositions aligned to customer workflows and research priorities.
Manage forecasting, territory planning, and CRM tracking.
Work cross functionally with field applications, marketing, and executive teams to drive spatial multiomic service projects.
Represent the company at regional meetings, trade shows, and networking events.
