Job summary

Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank, seeks a Business Development Associate to drive Western Region growth. You will support the Western Regional New Business team, manage CRM leads, review client financials, and contribute to strategy and outreach across factoring, Fast AR, and asset-based lending.

The role involves field work, travel, and collaboration with underwriting and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to complex problems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to seek and gather information from various sources.
• Accurate and thorough in all duties.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Google Apps.

Responsibilities

• Support the Western Regional New Business team with referral relationships.
• Analyze leads and manage CRM data.
• Review client financials and assist in adding qualified clients.
• Assist in marketing strategy and task implementation.
• Develop into primary BD rep for Fast AR and smaller factoring leads.
• Serve as initial contact for inbound leads and trade show follow ups.
• Support private equity and high net worth client education projects.
• Build notoriety in Southern California and Western US markets.
• Conduct strategic research to build targeted prospect lists.
• Ensure CRM data is updated and coordinate with Marketing for communications.
