Job summary

Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Wellness Specialist in Fords, NJ to join a multidisciplinary Community Support Services team. You will provide resource and skills development to help clients with serious mental illness integrate into their chosen communities.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, collaboration with licensed staff, and strong engagement with individuals served. A driving license and reliable transportation support field visits and home-based services.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a helping profession with a minimum of two years of experience in a community-based behavioral healthcare setting.
Bachelor's degree in a helping profession.
Master's degree in a helping profession.
Certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner may substitute for one year of experience.
Valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a wellness and recovery-oriented environment using person-first language and evidence-based practices.
Coordinate and manage services with the CSS team to support individuals in recovery.
Provide crisis intervention as needed and participate in the Individual Recovery Plan (IRP) development and monitoring.
Deliver services to meet each person’s identified needs as recorded in the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Needs Assessment (CRNA) and IRP.
Complete chart documentation in compliance with CSS regulations.
