Job summary

Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Wellness Specialist to join a multidisciplinary team providing on-site wellness and recovery services, case management, and linkage to community resources for individuals experiencing mental health crises and co-occurring disorders.

The role requires motivational interviewing, WRAP planning, crisis intervention in the Living Room model, collaboration with clinicians, and ensuring access to entitlements and supports.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BSW in a social service discipline.
• At least one year post degree work experience providing case management services for people with mental health and co-occurring disorders within the community setting.
• CPRP preferred, discharged veterans given preference; new graduates will be considered
• Valid driver's license required
• Vehicle required

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals into BCIS services using motivational and strengths based approaches.
• Coordinate and maintains referral and community service and resource lists.
• Assist enrollees to develop a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).
• Provides crisis intervention services and crisis de-escalation in the Living Room Model.
