Job summary

Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Wellness Specialist to join the Community Support Services team serving Hudson and Essex Counties. The role offers a base in Union with a schedule Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00am–5:00pm, and a salary of $47,000–$49,000.

Responsibilities include providing resource and skill development and direct support to individuals with serious mental illness to help them reintegrate into their community.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in one of the helping professions with minimum two years of community-based behavioral healthcare experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a helping profession.
• Master's degree in a helping profession.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource development, skill development and direct support to assist people with serious mental illness to integrate into their chosen community.
• Contribute to the treatment process and recovery planning.
• Engage with individuals to promote wellness, education and crisis intervention when needed.
