Job summary

Civana Carefree seeks a friendly Receptionist to check guests in, schedule spa appointments, and coordinate with resort departments. You will deliver quality service, learn the Book4Time system, and assist guests across the front desk while maintaining records and handling payments.

You will balance cash, respond to guest requests, and support daily spa operations, with a professional appearance and a can-do attitude. Prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Prefer 1-year office or other area of customer service experience.
• Must understand auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be computer literate and able to learn various software programs/applications.
• Must know how to operate printers and various other office equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be customer service focused

Responsibilities

• Perform daily check-in procedures.
• Learn and use Book4Time for operations.
• Monitor coupons, discounts, and promos.
• Process guest charges and payments.
• Verify postings and balances.
• Answer guest requests and coordinate with departments.
• Transfer charges to master accounts.
• Maintain daily shift checklists.
• Stay informed about spa services.
• Keep guest accounts accurate and up-to-date.
• Cross-train in other front-of-house tasks.
• Inform management of guest issues.
• Communicate changes to affected areas.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Assist guests with scheduling spa appointments in person and by phone.
• Run daily reports.
• Balance cash at end of shift.
• Adhere to schedule and employee handbook policies
