Palm Beach Tan is seeking energetic individuals to support salon operations in Hickory, NC. You will assist the Salon Manager with staffing, training, and driving sales through coaching and customer service excellence.

The role emphasizes team leadership, daily supervision, and maintaining a welcoming, well-stocked environment while ensuring customer satisfaction and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Ability to stand, bend and walk for long periods, 7+ hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Salon Manager with staffing, recruiting, and orientation of employees.
• Support achievement of sales goals through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
• Schedule and assign staff; monitor work results and ensure operational requirements.
• Control labor, cost of sales, and expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, stocking, organization and customer readiness.
• Build customer loyalty and positive team environment.
