Palm Beach Tan in Greenwood, SC is hiring for an Assistant Salon Manager to lead a dynamic, service-driven team. You will support sales goals, train staff, and ensure excellent customer experience in a fast-paced tanning-salon setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Ability to positively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods, 7+ hours per day; lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the salon manager with recruiting, selecting, and orienting staff.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff; including coaching and counseling.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor work results.
• Achieve financial objectives by managing controllable expenses.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, stocking, organization, and customer readiness.
• Establish rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits; safeguard and account for money.
