Job summary

The Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. in Lebanon, CT seeks a Wellness and Recreation Assistant to implement and manage recreation and wellness programs across SCADD sites. You will support client activities, plan events, and coordinate across the continuum of care.

The role emphasizes promoting socialization, growth and wellbeing, with opportunities to contribute to program schedules and client engagement in a supportive nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in recreation management or related field.
• Knowledge and experience in Substance use and community supports services preferred.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, promote and evaluate inclusive programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage recreation and wellness activities across SCADD programs.
• Plan and implement client activities including physical, social, educational and recreational events.
• Schedule facilities and track equipment; ensure safety and sanitation.
• Collaborate with clinical team on discharge planning and client engagement.
