What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide peer support, engagement, connection, and follow-up to callers
- Identify opportunities for member and family engagement in forming a supportive recovery network
- Collaborate with members on aftercare planning education and service transitions
- Act as a resource for staff on decision-making and problem-solving
- Maintain contact with assigned individuals to ensure connection to services

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Requires an AA/AS degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in health services or behavioral health field, or in a peer support services role
- Peer Specialist Certification is required
- Must reside within the state of Massachusetts and within 50 miles of an Elevance Health Corporate Office
- Availability for the work shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of care-coordination and case management concepts strongly preferred
- BA/BS or MBA preferred
- Current certification as a mental health peer specialist and/or recovery coach, or the ability to obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment
