Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks an Activities Assistant to support wellness programming across independent living, assisted living, and CFL environments. You will lead daily group activities, prepare spaces, and help residents feel connected and engaged, under the Director of Wellness Programming.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to obtain necessary vehicle licenses, and a schedule of part-time hours (Sunday-Tuesday, 9:00am-5:00pm).

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying independence levels in a similar setting is preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required for transporting residents; willingness to obtain required license class for company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive relationships with residents to help plan and facilitate engaging group programs.
• Escort and transport residents to appointments or outings as assigned.
• Prepare spaces and materials for programs; manage supplies; capture photos/videos per guidelines.
• Collaborate with volunteers and community partners; use electronic systems for content management and reporting.
• Assist the Director of Wellness Programming with administrative tasks while promoting MBK’s core values.
• Provide backup transportation support to ensure timely access to programs and appointments.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment for staff and residents.
