Job summary

Exos is seeking a Performance Coach to join its corporate wellness team. You will lead diverse group classes, monitor participant safety, and design personalized exercise plans for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations.

You’ll conduct assessments, offer one-on-one coaching, and help implement health promotion programs. Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential for building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology is required.
• Nationally accredited certifications such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE are preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct group exercise classes for diverse fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and motivation to clients.
• Assist in implementing incentive, health promotion, and specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Handle administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
