Watercrest Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse RN for a full-time role in Austin, TX. The Wellness Nurse provides direct and indirect care to residents under the supervision of the SNF Resident Wellness Director, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and state/federal regulations.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, medication management, and maintaining high-quality care across assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
• Familiarity with FHA/ADA guidelines and elder care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
• Assist with medication management, storage, documentation, and compliance with state regulations.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Train and guide care specialists in resident care according to plans.
• Continually assess residents to identify changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
• Serve as Charge Nurse on assigned shifts and coordinate team communication.
• Complete accurate charting, incident reports, and maintain resident records.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure staffing levels meet regulatory requirements.
