Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care on-site, ensuring daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity. You will follow MARs, administer medications and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.

The role requires an active LPN or RN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to learn the eMAR system. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN licensure in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time.
• Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to learn and use the eMAR system for meds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and facility policies.
• Understand and utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction on resident care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
