Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support residents with ongoing clinical monitoring and collaboration with care staff in Centennial, Colorado. The role involves helping ensure regulatory compliance and delivering compassionate care in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, administering medications per orders, updating resident plans, documenting observations, and staying current with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.

Job Description

Salary: $31.40-$36.00 per hour

The Wellness Nurse supports the health and well-being of residents through ongoing clinical monitoring and support, provides assistance to community nurses, caregivers, and medication personnel to help ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. The ability to work effectively as part of a team with flexibility and adaptability to change and pace of duties while maintaining a warm and encouraging disposition is important.

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• Working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures, dictated for compliance
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferred
