Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to warmly greet visitors, enroll members, handle reservations, distribute towels and locker keys, and route calls while delivering excellent service. This full-time daytime role requires strong customer service, the ability to work under pressure, and minimal supervision, with CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in the health and fitness industry preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and welcomes them to the facility.
• Enrolls new members, receives payments, makes reservations, distributes towels and locker keys.
• Places, answers, and directs phone calls and distributes messages.
• Gives facility tours and answers exercise equipment and facility questions.
