Job Summary:

The college is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Wellness & Fitness Center Specialist. This job provides assistance in the operation of the Wellness & Fitness Center, Gym Cage and Weight Room. Responsibilities involve overseeing fitness center operations, conducting patron tours, performing orientations for first-time users, answering phones and responding to questions as appropriate.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing daily cleaning and upkeep of the Wellness & Fitness Center facility and equipment.
• Ensuring safety and security.
• Operating a washer and dryer.
• Performing opening and closing procedures.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR /First Aid/ AED certification OR the ability to obtain within the first six (6) months of employment is required.
• Candidates must be able to work independently and without supervision.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to perform physical labor requiring bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.

Work Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week. Flexible hours between 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday.
