Kalamazoo Valley Community College is seeking a part-time Wellness & Fitness Center Specialist at the Texas Township Campus. The role supports daily operations, tours, orientations, and front-desk duties, with flexible hours and a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean facility, safety, and opening/closing procedures. A high school diploma is required, plus CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain within six months, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification OR the ability to obtain within the first six months of employment is required.
• Candidates must be able to work independently and without supervision.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Wellness & Fitness Center operations, Gym Cage and Weight Room.
• Conduct patron tours and orientations for first-time users.
• Answer phones and respond to questions as appropriate.
• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility and equipment.
• Open and close procedures and ensure safety and security.
