Job summary

Pressed is seeking a Shift Lead in Berkeley, CA who guides guests through wellness journeys with warmth and product knowledge. You’ll lead by example, mentor teammates, and ensure outstanding guest experiences while driving sales and loyalty enrollment.

You will prepare and serve products, manage shift operations, and maintain cleanliness and safety, including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling flexible scheduling. This role requires U.S. work authorization and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or retail.
• Excellent communication and guest-focused service.
• Ability to lead and support teammates during shifts.
• Able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional, friendly guest experience.
• Engage guests with product sampling and storytelling about ingredients and benefits.
• Drive sales and enroll loyalty members.
• Lead by example to exceed sales goals.
• Follow Mystery Shop guidelines to reach 100%.
• Support and guide fellow team members during the shift.
• Help onboard and train new team members.
• Open and close the store and complete daily checklists.
