Job summary

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Wellness Experience Floor Leader to drive member engagement and retention by delivering frontline support, leading uFit orientations, personal training, and group exercise classes. You will maintain a safe and clean wellness facility, execute onboarding retention goals, and build authentic relationships across diverse demographics.

Qualifications

• Applied knowledge of exercise science, training techniques, equipment operation, uFit onboarding protocols, and wellness floor risk management.
• Strong active listening, conflict resolution, and motivational skills to connect with members, promote Y programs, and foster an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead uFit sessions and group exercise classes; engage with members on the wellness floor 35-40 hours per week.
• Maintain a safe, clean wellness facility; enforce policies and guidelines.
• Assist members with equipment and exercise techniques; ensure proper medical consent forms.
• Support retention efforts by following up with members via calls and emails and scheduling appointments.
