Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Staunton, IL is seeking a Wellness Director (LPN or RN) to oversee the delivery of personal care services to residents and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coordinate and supervise resident care staff, maintaining dignity and high-quality care as residents' needs evolve.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN or RN license, have 3+ years in assisted living or long-term care, and possess strong communication and organizational abilities to manage complex schedules and

• Must be an LPN or RN in good standing and meet state health requirements.
• 3+ years in Assisted Living and/or Long-term care.
• Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing.
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive personal care services to residents on a day-to-day basis following required regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate, train, and supervise resident care staff.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and monitor healthcare needs as they change.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and State officials.
