Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Punta Gorda, FL, seeks a Wellness Coordinator – LPN to ensure resident services, coordinate personal care, medications, and staff supervision on a day-to-day basis.

You will work under the Wellness Director, bringing your LPN licensure and 3+ years in assisted living to lead a care-focused team, uphold state regulations, and deliver compassionate, compliant care to residents.

Qualifications

• LPN license in good standing required and state health requirements met.
• 3+ years experience in assisted living or nursing home.
• Knowledge of state/local rules for licensed senior housing.
• Previous supervisory/management experience in healthcare.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Experience in staff training and development.
• Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health.
• Must pass health checks and have a valid driver’s license.

Details about the Wellness Coordinator – LPN position we are hiring for:

The Wellness Coordinator – LPN works closely under the direction of the Wellness Director to assure Resident Services including coordination and supervision of personal care, medication services, staff training, and supervision are completed on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Must be a LPN in good standing and meet all State health requirements.


• Experience 3+ years in Assisted Living and/or Nursing Home.


• Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing.


• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.


• Must have exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating needs of the resident and community.


• Must have strong documentation skills.


• Must have experience in training and staff development.


• Must have the ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care.


• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.


• Must have valid driver’s license.
