Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to support the Director of Wellness in coordinating daily operations and ensuring compassionate, personalized resident care that promotes dignity, choice, and well-being. This role focuses on staffing coverage, training, and adherence to care plans.

You will create and maintain staff schedules, coordinate coverage for call-offs, supervise communications devices and resident alert systems, and assist with resident move-ins and care documentation,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and meet applicable health and certification requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform essential physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

The Wellness Coordinator supports the Director of Wellness in coordinating daily operations, maintaining staffing coverage, and helping residents receive compassionate, personalized care that promotes dignity, choice, and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain staff schedules, coordinate coverage for call-offs, and monitor unapproved overtime.Coordinate staff assignments, communication devices, and resident alert systems to support timely care.Assist with resident move-ins, records, care group assignments, and shower schedules.Support onboarding and hands-on training for Personal Care Specialists and track staff CPR certifications.Monitor resident supplies and communicate replenishment needs to families.Assist with resident care as needed, including measuring vital signs and weights, coordinating laboratory specimens, and maintaining documentation within scope of practice.Maintain accurate shift communications and follow resident service plans, emergency procedures, and applicable regulations.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years old and meet applicable state or provincial health and certification requirements.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to perform essential physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.Vitality Living is an equal opportunity employer where you can Be You, Be Vibrant, and Belong.
