YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to enhance member relationships and retention on the wellness floor. You will assist members, support general membership, and manage equipment cleaning schedules during your shift.

Responsibilities include engaging with members, upselling programs, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety standards while delivering an exceptional Y experience for all ages.

Qualifications

• Experience in wellness or customer service is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage members.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists members on the wellness floor and Family Center courteously.
• Maintain wellness and fitness inventory.
• Encourage growth in member participation and program usage.
• Maintains and cleans equipment according to schedule or supervisor request.
• Participates in member retention, events and fundraising.
• Engage with members to upsell programs including Personal Training, Group Exercise, Youth Sports, Aquatics & Youth Development.
