YMCA in Columbus, GA seeks a personable Wellness Assistant to support members in achieving health goals. You’ll build relationships, welcome new members, and connect them with group exercise communities aligned to their wellbeing plans.

You will promote wellness initiatives, conduct member tours, and ensure facilities are clean and safe. CPR/AED certification is required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Good public relations skills and be able to communicate effectively.
• Perform the physical demands of demonstrating proper exercise technique.
• Interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all backgrounds.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Builds authentic relationships with members and helps connect them with others.
• Introduce new members to group exercise communities based on their health goals.
• Promotes wellness programs and initiatives, keeping members informed of opportunities.
• Gives tours to potential members and new members.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and ensures weight rooms are neat and organized.
• Follows YMCA policies, attends events and staff meetings as directed.
