Job summary

Willow Grove YMCA is seeking a Wellness Coach to help members on the fitness floor, teach safe equipment use, and support healthy lifestyle choices within our community.

You will engage members, build relationships, maintain a clean, safe space, and collaborate with a friendly team dedicated to inclusive fitness.

This role emphasizes connection, hands-on coaching, and passion for helping people start or sustain healthier routines.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Fitness experience preferred.
• Enjoyment from working with people on a fitness floor.
• Excitement about helping members learn new equipment.
• Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage members to foster a safe and rewarding fitness experience.
• Build strong relationships with members and guests to facilitate their fitness goals.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean fitness floor.
• Provide a friendly and encouraging environment for members in the usage of fitness and wellness programs and services.
• Have an understanding and provide basic information to members on exercising and health and wellness.
