The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a full-time Wellness Coach to connect with members about fitness. This role is vital to fostering a healthy community and ensuring that members are comfortable using fitness equipment.

What is needed for this job:

• High School degree or equivalent


• Fitness experience preferred


• Enjoyment from working with people on a fitness floor

• Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members and building relationships

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Engage members to foster a safe and rewarding fitness experience


• Build strong relationships with members and guests to facilitate their fitness goals


• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean fitness floor


• Provide a friendly and encouraging environment for members in the usage of fitness and wellness programs and services.


• Have an understanding and provide basic information to members on exercising and health and wellness.
