Job summary

Oshkosh Community YMCA is seeking a Wellness Center Attendant to help ensure member safety during opening shifts, and to clean and sanitize fitness equipment.

You will provide and schedule orientations for members, maintain at least one shift per month, assist members as needed, and greet staff, volunteers and guests by name to build a welcoming culture. Must stand 90% of shifts and be able to lift 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Availability for opening shifts.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR, AED & First Aid certification; training available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of members in the wellness center during opening shifts.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment in wellness center.
• Provide and schedule orientations and schedule appointments for members.
• Maintain at least one shift per month.
• Assist members as needed.
• Build relationships daily and create a culture of philanthropy by using names and initiating conversations with all members, staff, volunteers, and guests.
• Stand or be on your feet 90% of shifts.
• Lift up to 45 lbs.
